Product Questions & Answers (FAQ)
What is the metalworking fluid used for?
For metal machining of steels and—depending on process requirements—also aluminium alloys and selected aerospace alloys, in central systems or individual machines.
Which concentrations are typically used?
Reference values: 4–7% (general machining), 6–10% (drilling), 6–10% (reaming/tapping), 7–12% (broaching). Always adapt to application, water quality and process.
Is it free of formaldehyde releasers and chlorine?
It does not contain formaldehyde releasers and is free of chlorine compounds; it is also described as chlorine- and nitrite-free.
What water hardness range is it designed for?
The recommended water hardness range is 3–20 °dH.
Is there an aerospace approval?
Per data sheet: Airbus – EADS ASN 42302.
