CASTROL TRIBOL GR 3785/220-1.5 (previously named Tribol 3785/220-1.5) is a multi-service bearing grease designed for high-performance systems. It offers lubricating advantages under adverse conditions and meets the following performance characteristics: Broad service temperature application range, Excellent shear stability, Extended lifetime, Superior antiwear and load-carrying capabilities, Increased water resistance, Good pumpability characteristics, especially in long line central lubrication systems, Good corrosion protection. Due to these characteristics CASTROL TRIBOL GR 3785/220-1.5 is mainly applied in the paper and the food and beverage industry, as well as in the automotive, steel and mining industry.It is based on a mixture of mineral and synthetic oil of ISO viscosity grade 220, thickened with a lithium soap. CASTROL TRIBOL GR 3785/220-1.5 grease is available in NLGI grade 1.5. It contains a blend of additives, which provide outstanding antiwear and EP characteristics for extreme operating conditions. Effective rust and oxidation inhibitors provide rust protection and high ageing resistance.
